Intern Tells Tales From The "Oral" Office!

OK, this shirt is funny. It's so trashy & looks like it came straight from the pages of the Weekly World News. The image of the shirt does it's job.

"He told me I really sucked!" (lol)
"Intern tells tales from the 'oral' office!" (lol)
"We've been blowing our horn for over 65 years!" (lol)
"Washington Insiders say, 'She was on her knees begging for another chance!'" (lol)
"Today's forecast: VERY HOT!" (lol)

K. This tee is so tacky. So trashy.

Do The Urkel!

Do The Urkel!

If only you had this vintage t-shirt you`d be doing The Urkel in style. 'I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up' shirt is absolutely fabulous & would look great on everybody - from your grandmother to your little sister! Remember how big Steve Urkel used to be? Urkelos
? And if you remember that, I take you remember TGIF. I also take it you remember the LIFE CALL. The LIFE CALL was basically a device that you wore around your neck that had a button on it, if you fell, you pressed the button & were connected to an operator where you were to tell them your problem & location. Well the commercials always portrayed an elderly person falling & eventually pushing the button & shouting the famous phrase that was jokes for many years to come - I`VE FALLEN & I CAN`T GET UP. It even inspired this Steve Urkel shirt! WHOA!

Check out the LIFE CALL commercial!

We Missed You Last Year!

Come Back to Detroit This Year! We Missed You Last Time!

One from the personal collection. Can't wait to sport this one on a night out on the town in Windsor, ON - across the river from Detroit. From my internet travels, read that these were sold in a record shop in Oakland... but who knows, they were probably sold elsewhere. Quite comical, reminds me of the I'M SO BAD I VACATION IN DETROIT shirts. HA.

Ghostbusters! I Ain't 'Fraid Of No Ghosts.

I Ain't 'Fraid of No Ghosts!

Totally missed out on bidding on this shirt, pissed almost to the point of suicide, but popped a pill, had a glass or four of wine & talked myself down. I thought I would capture it here for all eyes too see.

Pogo's Dead!

Pogo's Dead!

Vintage, very obscure t-shirt based on the execution of Pogo the Clown AKA John Wayne Gacy the mass murderer. You can read about his clownmania experience on wikipedia, or just read below about John & Pogo in a nutshell.

John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer also known as Killer Clown who committed the rape & murder of 33 teenage young men & boys in the mid '70s. He buried most of his victims in his crawlspace, tossed some by a river & buried a few elsewhere on his property. Gacy got the nickname as he would dress up as 'Pogo The Clown', a character he came up with himself, for childrens parties & parades.

Like the shirt states,
John Wayne Gacy
March 17th, 1942 - May 10th, 1994
(executed by lethal injection)

Pee Wee's Playhouse!

I'm fanatical over Pee Wee Herman & Pee Wee's Playhouse. I can see this original, vintage 1987 Pee Wee's Playhouse tee pressed tight against my nipples. From Herman Toys, Inc. Tag is quite cute: DO NOT REMOVE UNDER PENALTY OF LAW. Remember when tags used to saw that? WTF? I was too young to ask WTF or to care back then, but seriously, buy. me. this. shirt.

"You don't wanna get mixed up with a guy like me. I'm a loner. A rebel."
- Pee Wee Herman

Patti Smith Group

Original, vintage, described by the seller as 'mega rare' Patti Smith Group t-shirt. Definitely a killer item, something I'd add to my collection if it weren't $2,000 + $19.50 shipping from Thailand.

Below, one of my favorite Patti Smith quotes & photos.

"I have loved books all my life. There is nothing more beautiful in our material world than the book." - Patti Smith
(so basically, fuck the iPad)
